Days in Bournemouth - Branksome - Poole

March 18

A CS friend of Floh came today and we all went to the beach in Bournemouth as there were 2 other member coming for the day from London, It was a good fresh air time walking along the coast and discovering a part of Bournemouth.

The 2 girls from London didn't have to care too much about their finance (not my case) and we ended up in a classy Chinese restaurant before all leaving back to our respective place.

It was lots of fun!

March 19

Another lazy day, floh is back on the working rythm.
I walked long in Branksome doing some brick spotting for my project of building a shelf and brought 2 of them found further in the neighbourhood.

Then it's been a normal house cleaning day.

The biggest news is that it seems that my resignation from HC volunteering has got things moving faster, I got all the appropriate rights with several mail suddenly. It was quite time. So finally I am geo coordinator for HC.

My forum works though is getting rubish, I don't like so much babso management and the way the whole situation gets nasty with the members. I pledge for a better respect of the routine and a better communication but I finally give up wasting my energy on it.

Slept, lots of computer work all night.

So I worked long hours on HC again and with floh we cleaned the whole UK once and for all.
I did all the bug reporting that was pending too and most email answering.

We received a guest today (HC: gilliat) a russian living in London, we talked altogether as he arrive late. Funny guy.

At last, I got my CV printed. Now I can start handle it around. woohooo

Our guest went out most of the day to visit and nothing special happened on my side.
Eamon (HC: eamonnl) arrived from Thailand and will stay with us for a moment before going to north and coming back. and we watched a movie during the evening before falling asleep. (Children of men).

It was a quiet day.

Our Russian guest left by hitch-hiking trying to reach France. He did that pretty late though. We walked to Sea View with him before he left and finally once back home we simply watched Paris-Texas later, but all felt asleep on it.

Eamon left to Liverpool, its been a lost Sunday for me.

Another tour of Bournemouth, I went to the Tourist Office and got all the pamphlet that might be useful. I walked around to try to spot some jobs in the city and ended up looking at the stores and at the beach.
It has not been a fructifious day.
I stopped to get the grocery at the Lidl on the way back and relaxed with Floh at home.

A sunny day to walk around in Branksome and handle some CV in the local shop, I did all Ashley Road and Parkstone.
I also discovered a park totally nearby!

We planned to use a promotion offered by the ferry company to go to the Channel Island this week end. So we looked for the information for that.

Most of my day I walked out, a long walk all the way to Poole and watched the sunset from the Quay before heading to Liliput and come back late in the evening after getting a lunch at a local Tesco.
At least I did something and discovered Poole really well for once.

I went back to Bournemouth to handle some CV (cinema), Floh joined me later and we walked in town. We also stopped at Adrian's job place and had a beer there. Floh was going to the cinema and I stayed with Adrian before coming back home later.

A quiet evening but really cool. Adrian is a really cool guy, everyone will surely appreciate his laugh!
