It's another slightly snowy day, that's lovely! I missed snow so much!
So later on today I will be meeting with Daniela (hc: dadla) in Prague. Its great as we have been exchanging emails but never met so far, so I'm quite looking forward to our encounter.
So by the afternoon, I say goodbye to my great host in Olomouc and go in direction of the train station to catch a train to Prague. I manage to do so and then sit down with the long ride that will bring me to Prague downtown. I enjoyed the snowy whity view from the train and also the funny clothed guy next to me who keeps on looking at socks magazine.
Nearly arrived in Prague, the whole train line broke down! Only few km away and nobody know what is happening but we are not moving for nearly an hour! Dammit, I will miss my rendez-vous.
I then ran to the meeting point next to the museum square, under the statue of a king on a horse 'the pony tail'. mm I wait, wait, but obviously I'm too late :S
I didn't know at all how to communicate with her again and how to find an Internet cafe to do such. I finally go back to the station, use some coins to get to a dodgy underground 'dry cleaner and Internet' and just get online long enough to send her a sms through the free smsing website.
Then I walk back to the meeting point and a bit later after me she arrived as well.
In the meantime I could still amuse myself with the snow bank around the statue and so on... it was no bad, seeing Prague under the snow since my last visit.
Then I met with quite a sweet girl, I kinda liked her style right away. We ended up in a sort of Artist cafe, located on the last floor of a 6-storey building having a drink and talking a little with 2 of her friends.
Later on we simply took the subway to get back to her student residence and having a good sleep.
Tough waking up but by the end of the morning, we finally stepped outside and walked under a wonderful sun in the great freezy snow. It definitely made me feel home!
We walked around in Prague, and then went to a art exhibition given by the students at Daniella's school.
From her school building we also had a marbelous view over the river, the bridge and the cathedral.
After this visit, later in the afternoon, we went to freeze ourselves a little while walking in the hill park area. Getting on top of it with the funiculaire and walk in this wooden area with a great view over Prague. The whole moment is actually quite romantic and there is plenty of great subject for pictures. I had a great time walking hand in hand with her through the snowy path and enjoy the white view of this marbelous city.
There is no doubt after my second visit that Prague is obviously one of the best european city!
Back to the residence later, we cooked an improvised meal with her friends and roomates and talked a little.
And well Balkan music is also just wonderful to the ears!
Finally we woke up in time to leave the residence by mid-day and headed out of town in our attempt to hitch-hike to Trutnov. It was pretty cool to not be hitch-hiking alone again, with Daniella this time.
It was still another sunny day and snowy, but also pretty wet. We did manage to catch a ride pretty easily out of Prague. But then we quite got stuck along the road in the country side... and it started to be cold and were freezing brrrrrr :S
We did keep the good mood and tried to see the bright side of it, and amused ourselves. She was indeed quite funny and cute in that situation.
We finally only managed another ride until Jicin, and went to the grocery before catching an over-packed bus to Trutnov.
