Mazuria is one of the most beautiful parts of Poland with beautiful pine and birch forests, and interesting villages and towns. Known as the Land of a Thousand Lakes, there are actually more like 3000 and among many other activities, they are a paradise for water sports, fishing and ice sailing in the winter.

This is a nice little town.  We wandered around a little and walked around the gothic episcopal castle and 13th century gothic church. It was an amazingly sunny, beautiful winter day.
