Highway 600 - Mragowo to Szczytno

I didn't mean to head down this road!  I saw the sign to Szczytno, it was getting really late, was dark and I wanted to get back to Warsaw, so off I headed!  It was a memorable mistake!  This must be a beautiful tree-lined country road during the day, but at night...  It seemed to last forever, pitch black, no lines painted on the road and large trees spaced about every 10 meters!  Not the best place for a night time drive if you're anxious to get home!  But, nonetheless a memorable experience.  As I understand it, on the hierarchy of roads in Poland, this road, #600, is on one of the lowest levels, as far as maintenance, illumination and snow clearing goes.  So, I took it easy, drove slowly and successully managed to make my way to the end of the highway without injuring one of the beautiful trees or cute furry creatures scurrying across the road!
