A stroll in the woods

When I first got to the US I was a little home sick so my hubby took me to this trail along the Potomac because he thought it looked the most like where I grew up. Plus taking a stroll through the woods in fall is just beautiful. The many colorful leaves in the trees and on the ground. The sound they make when you walk through them, sends me right back to childhood memories. This area is located right outside the main gate of Fort Belvoir and is open to anyone!
