Just an overnight stop, lots of pics of the twin towers :)

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Sitting at the fountains below the towers

Because of the way Air Asia works it actually saved us like $400 to stay overnight in KL so that we did, plus we thought it would be cool to see the towers, and it was.  I don't have a lot to say about it because weren't there for long enough but I HIGHLY recommend the Trader's Hotel.  It was super modern, clean, free internet, AWESOME breakfast, full view of the towers from our room, not to mention one of most written up sky bars is on the roof - all for less than $100 a night.  I love Malaysia.

The airport is pretty far from the city so we got to look around a little on the way.  There are some seriously suburban style homes being built (that I assume probably belong to American executives living over there).  Row after row of gorgeous brand new homes - looked a little bit like Coppell, TX haha...I guess you would have to live in Dallas to get that.

Ok so like I said, we were only there over night - but we sat by the fountain underneath the towers for a while near the park..pretty cool....

We did quite a bit of research on each of our hotels and although I put average for cost I think it was pretty cheap for what it actually was. Our room was $90 but it was an extremely upscale, modern, clean, great service, amazing sky bar, free wireless internet, free night cap cocktail, HUGE international breakfast buffet, awesome location right next to the KL towers (easily walkable) with a beautiful park and running trail. Anywhere besides Malaysia this hotel would be MUCH more expensive.
