Bad Aibling will always be my home

Well, what can I say about Bad Aibling. Bad, in this case means bath or spa because it is a health resort city. I hope that makes sense. There are many rehabilitation centers for people with back injuries and other health problems. They just finished building a huge day spa, complete with saunas and a nice pool to swim in. Bad Aibling also has a city park where you can find live music at night, a mini zoo with local birds and fish, a mini golf course and table golf (kinda like billiards). One section of the park was made to look like one of the local swamps, including a swamp like lake and the wildlife and fauna surrounding it and a neat little creek running through it. There are also tennis courts and another big lake in the center of the park. During the winter months it is possible to ice skate on it which is great.
After all Bad Aibling is not very big and has a population of about 18.000. Which is enough if you ask me. Growing up here was nice. I actually miss it a lot more then I ever dared to imagine. Specially the view of the Alps every day. 30 minutes to Austria or 45 minutes to Munich.
Hopefully I get to go back soon and add some pictures and stories! I can't believe I don't have more pictures of my hometown. It's pretty sad if you think about it.
