Northern Areas of Pakistan

Visited during winter of 2006, to escape the heat of the South and enjoy the snow of the North of Pakistan. Went to explore the Swat Valley, points visited included Badin, Bahrain, Fizagat, Bagderi, Kalam and a few others. Swat is known as the Switzerland of Pakistan. The best time to visit is during summer, late April-July. If your are skiing fan then you can visit in Winter. There is a ski resort and a competition is held in Jan or Feb.
