Cairns - Dive capital of the world

Cairns with the great barrier reef is the number one location in the world for Scuba diving. That’s all down to the great barrier reef being on its doorstep. I went on a one day trip to the reef and its typical the day I choose to go the sea has a big swell and is that pleasant to travel on at all. I completed my introductory dive and snorkeling, saw Nemo struggling to survive on his anemone. The barrier reef is amazing and is great to swim in. The diversity and numbers of fish you see are amazing.

Tuesday was white water rafting day, it was good fun but less scary than I though it maybe. I think I’ve done so many dangerous things now its becoming more and more difficulty to get thrills and scares.
