Well, it all started when I boarded Continental Flight 009 at 10:30 Wednesday morning. After a mere 14 hours of binge drinking to Tokyo, I spent 5 marvelous hours at the airport in Narita.  Speaking of which, Damn you Rosetta Stone - I still don't understand Japanese and can't quite seem to find an opportunity to note that "there is a boy underneath a ball," which happens to be the only Japanese phrase that I have mastered!

After draining my ipod's poor battery, I was naive enough to actually get on another 4 hour flight to Guam where I happily showed all the pansies in first class what snoring really was.  After wiping up any more evidence of drool, I stumbled my way through customs, found a rental car and drove to my new home at the Hilton.  It is currently 02:20 Friday morning in Tumon.  Sounds worse that it is... it's actually 11:20 am Thursday back in New York.

Woke up on around noon on Friday and took some pictures of the hotel.  Met some great guys that I'll be working with later that afternoon at the bar and went boozin' in Tamuning.  We went to a cool place called the Horse & Cow.  It seemed like a military bar.   Tons of navy stuff everywhere but they seemed happy to drink with us civilians.  I guess it is also a local hangout for the guys at work...very laid back with really cheap beer.

Hey Dave, I'm a native of Guam. I recognized a lot of your profile photos of Guam... :)

Were the locals nice to you while you were there?
