Traditional Lithuanian style cuisine in a traditional atmosphere, the wait staff is dressed in traditional Lithuanian dress from the 1800s (sorry to use the word “traditional” three times in one sentence, but that’s the best way to describe what is going on in this restaurant!). Just a short drive from Palanga (10-15 KM) this is a good spot to try Šaltibarščiai, cold beet root soup (maybe better known in the states as “borscht”), a very common soup in Lithuania, notable for its pink color.
