Up the hills to Leysin
Surely enough the train from Geneva arrived in Aigle, then I had a bit of confusion figuring out where to go next for Leysin but I got there. The views of the mountains were jaw-dropping as rose higher and higer up the mountain.
I also really lived the crispness to the air, after being soaked in sweat from the humidity of South-East asia. It was great to feel a little bit of a chill as I went up the mountain
Leysin is a very beautiful little town, and I enjoyed my walk around town to find the Hiking Sheep hostel. This is a really big hostel, obviously set up to cater for way more people than were staying there. It mustn't be peak season, since at the moment I think it was me and two American girls in the hostel (Karen and ??)
Later in the evening others arrived and I met Italian, Romanian and two French making dinner in the hostel. I had a brief wander around town, but was really quite happy taking in the mountain views from the hostel balcony :)
