Bungy jumping...it's not for me

Starting the new year in the "Land of the long white cloud". So far this is the country with the most breathtaking landscape I've ever seen. People here seems to know how to enjoy life.

Bungy jumping...it's not for me

Bungy
Still in Queenstown, went to check out the famous AJ Hackett Bungy place.  It is located at the Kawarau Bridge not far from the city.  It is $160 for a jump.  That’s $160 for a 10 second rush of adrenaline.  I’m too chicken shit to do it.  I may be dumb but I ain’t crazy.  I think it will traumatize me for life if I did.  Props to those people who did the jump that day.  They seem to have enjoyed it, those crazy adrenaline junkies!

Next stop is Arrowtown to see the Chinese settlement.  It is an historic gold mining town where many Chinese immigrants came for the gold rush back in the days.  Many of the original homes, or more like tiny shacks, were still there and it’s cool to see how they lived back then.

Went back to Queenstown again to explore the place more.  Got tickets for the gondola (cable car) ride up the hill to see the whole town.  You can see some stunning views from the observation deck.  I wouldn’t mind retiring here if I can afford the expensive real estate.

Queenstown is known as a hotspot for extreme sports like bungy jumping, jet boating, skydiving, mountain biking, etc.  There are many activities to do here, otherwise, it would be a really really boring place to live with a great view.
