Toyohashi is the third-largest city in Aichi pref. The largest city is Nagoya. The second largest city is Toyota city. The head office of Toyota Motor Corporation is located in Toyota city.  My hometown, Toyohashi is an agricultural city. Mikawa Port lies in the west of Toyohashi. It's a typical of automobile harbor in Japan. I went to Toyohashi by Meitetsu train from Nagoya. But I can go there by JR trains including a bullet train. A Sinkansen Kodama stops Toyohashi, so you can come to Toyohashi very easily from Tokyo or Osaka. From Toyohashi station you can use several public transportation like the street car line, the Atsumi line and buses. Toyohashi City Museum of Art and History is located in Toyohashi park.  It's small but good museum. Toyohashi City public Hall was built in 1931. It was built in The Spanish Colonial Revival Style.
