Partying with the king
I arrived Ceske Budejovice with pretty low expectations , after listening to the people in Cesky Krumlov saying that i didnt need so many hours to see the entire city. I decided to just walk around for a couple of hours , then i attended the Budweiser Budvar Brewery Tour. The Brewery has tours beginning every day at 14:00 , and you can expect to walk for around 30minutes from the main square to get there. Its easiest to ask the tourist information for a map as its very easy to find. You just need to follow the street Krajinsja from the main square then to follow Prazska for around 3km untill you can see the Brewery.
After attending the Brewery i walked into town again and went to the Bus station to catch the bus to Telc. Unfortunatly for me the last bus went just 25minutes before i arrived so I was forced to spend the night in Ceske Budejovice.
So far, Ceske Budejovice had been the city in Czech Republic that i liked the least, but I wanted to sample the nightlife and sat down in SINGER PUB which is supposed to be one of the best classical pubs to kick off an evening. I sat alone and sipped from my beer , sitting down with some English Teacher from the UK. They really enjoyed to live in Ceske Budejovice. They introduced me to a guy called Jarda which had been working in Bergen (My hometown) for three months. We started talking and soon hit it off , so he invited me home so i could leave my backpack there while we decided to hit the town and find some ladies. He was determined into finding a girl for me, and went to the best meatmarkets around. I actually got the phonenumber of the bartender by telling her that I was going to stay in town for several days. My memory went blurry after this as Jarda bought me three shots, One Czech Speciality , One Whiskey and Absinte.. The next day i woke up in in a yellow shirt in Jarda's apartment.Jarda is the King , hitting on girls for me (as they didnt like to speak english), buying my shots , letting me sleep in his apartment and just being a great friend to talk to. I made a real friend , and invited him to come to Bergen ;)
