I arrived in Prague around Noon and headed down to the Florenc Station, I managed to get lost beacause i took a wrong turn at the Metro Station. After fumbling around the Streets around the Florenc Station i finally found the Bus station and ordered a ticket for Cesky Krumlov. The bus departed from Praha Roztyly (On the Red Metro Stop Roztyly). I went there in good time and sat down with a cigarette and waited. The thing i didnt know was the fact that it was no reserved seats on the bus. It said reserved seats on my ticket, but obviously there was no reservation, so when i entered the bus was full so I had to stand! Luckily I only had to stand for the first hour, but this can be a nifty little think to remember if anyone are taking buses in the Czech Republic.

For your information there is a bus leaving everyday from Prague to Cesky Krumlov at 15:25

I arrived in Cesky Krumlov around 19:00 and made my way to Hostel 99 (See review). Just wondering through this little town at nighttime I got the feeling that I was going to enjoy my time here. With its small narrow streets it reminded my of the Old town in Bergen, but with greater architecture. But by all means, Bergen is a lovely city and the scenic beauti is the reason why Ive lived there for 8years of my life.

At Hostel99 I checked in and to my BIG suprise there was a Norwegian working there, That's a first! He had been living in Cesky Krumlov for the last 7years and spoke perfectly Czech, as well as Norwegian. He took me out to places where you can take panoramas and showed me around for about one hour, before we decided to go to Gypsy's  and sample some of the local food.

Both of us decided on the Goulash and it wasnt bad. Not the best Ive tasted, but at 90kc it was very good value.. After talking about the "old country" and getting to know eachother i decided to go to bed as its was after midnight.

DAY 2

I
got an early start and brought with me. I just walked around , taking inn sights as the Castle and the lovely old town. Strolled around the river and sampled a beer at some of the pubs Ive found on the way. According to Fred arriving in Winter wasnt such a bad idea , since the streets are flooded with tourists in summers. It was even worse than Prague according to the guys living there , in HUGE contrast to the almost empty streets and quiet athmosphere during winters.
The Main street in Cesky Krumlov (We called it the strip)

I just walked around with my camera and shooting , while being a little frustrated that so many things where closed. I just walked around without a map and managed to end up in a school of arts. I was unaware of this at the time and snuck into the hallway and started to take pictures of some sculptures that where probably made by the students. At this time i was trespassing since the door was closed, but someone unlocked the door for me as they might have thought that i was a student.  After taking my snaps , I exited and went around in the courtyard and looking around. An old woman aproached me and tried to comminicate in Czech, due to my non-existant Czech Skills we had a pretty hard time communicating. She then changed to german and from what i could understand , It was a school and not open to tourists..

Well back at the hostel again I met this Australian girl and we sat down in the Bedroom.
Cesky Krumlov
She was a journalist , and i asked her how she would angle writing an article about being in Cesky Krumlov in Winter, and she wasnt sure if she could recomend it as many of the typical tourist atractions. We met some Canadian girls , like everyone else they where living in London or Prague. They where rushing through Eastern Europe, staying less than a day in every city. And all they did where drinking and clubbing without meeting local people. Almost like everyone else.

We went out, had some drinks and they wherent to interested in me and I wasnt interested in them , So they went on to the next bar while I stayed around. I sat down , got wasted, met some locals guys and just had fun. There are very few girls that are more fun to be around with than a real guy ;)

Day Three

Still drunk from the night before, I headed to Ceske Budejovice.
