There is a little "town" with shops, their main trade seems to be crafts and fudge, which suited us nicely. We bought a bunch of cool little ornaments/sculptures made from nuts and bolts, including a bride and groom since it was our honeymoon. We also bought $20 of fudge - 5 different flavours, every one of them delicious.
We stayed in the most beautiful place, Pethers Rainforest Retreat. It was pricey, but was right in the forest and was gorgeous. The price included a full breakfast too. We had a very indulgent night there, eating fudge and also some awesome Brie cheese from a cheese factory nearby, which we had with crackers. We borrowed a dvd from reception - Double Jeopardy - and played Scrabble. There was also a nice big spa bath which overlooked our own private section of the rainforest. It was incredibly romantic and relaxing. Breakfast was good too!
