Archery

Thimpu the capital of Bhutan sports the only traffic light in Bhutan, a human that is. To be honest it is needed, whereas Paro was basically a one street town, Thimpu is being shaped more and more like a modern town with all the problems with it.

Nightlife in Thimpu or in the rest of Bhutan is to my knowledge non-existent or it must be an archery tournament in the night. Archery is the national sport of Bhutan, hundreds if not thousands of Bhutanese practice this form of outdoor activity. Every little village in Bhutan sports at least one archery field or if there isn't any space for it they just practice it on the public road! To prove that they are real men they don't shoot arrows over a distance of 25m but over a ridiculous 120 meters, that is one-hundred-and-twenty meters. Most people have trouble seeing the target from this distance let alone try to hit it with an arrow.
