This is an easy way to check on me as I head around the world. I will do my best to update it :)

Saw the sun rise...

Before the sun rose, the first sunrise in the world (for Jan 18th).
Today we rose bright and early to see the first sun rise in the world. A few of us didn't realize the group had left so we headed off a few minutes later, however, we just headed for the beach not the "special sunrise spot." About ten minutes into our walk the handless horse man came out of a house nearby and started yelling that we were going the wrong way to see the sunrise. We responded that it still rises from the beach too. He got up in a fuss and started yelling, "No! Your going the wrong way" so we all turned around and Megan, Sarah and I decided to run so we didn't miss it. It was uphill for about half a mile. At 5 in the morning after getting little sleep my body was screaming, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? We made it to the sunrise, slightly bitter, but made it just the same. That day we left Ronetokio and headed to Gisben which had a 8.2 earthquake the week before. It is a big surfer town. However, a psychic had predicted the degree of the earthquake and the exact day of the earthquake last week. She also predicted one to hit the day we reached Gisben followed by a tsunami. Call me superstious, but I was a little nervous. The weather was horrible all day and night and we left in the morning not having seen much of the town. We did however, just miss the pro surfing competition which would be taking place the next day. Even so, I was happy to be off to safer waters.
