Not in Kansas anymore...
January 10, 2008
So I have officially arrived in NZ after a miserable 30 hours of travel which consisted of an airport evacuation in Aukland, dragging my suitcases around the the city of Wellington to find the train station and too many forms of transportation. So now that all that is behind me I have found myself recovering from jet lag in the "beautiful" town of Palmerston North. I am visiting my friend Ali here, however, I have been quite homesick. The town is okay, although no one really seems happy to be here. Most people have asked me why I decided to come here or said, "Not to worry, New Zealand is much nicer than this." I'm not stressed though, upon searching the web for sites to see in Palmy I have come to learn that it houses NZ's largest Adult DVD warehouse! How great! I've finally found a way to spend my days while Ali is at work... ha ha. Really looking forward to heading to Wellington this weekend and from there taking a bus tour around the east side of New Zealand.
