Places on this trip just keep getting more beautiful..

...as you might guess, we're loving this trip and each day just seems to open up even more amazing landscapes and scenery as we travel around NZ.
Today has to go down as one of the highlights - we took a boat trip around Milford Sound - right down on the south west coast of the south island. People and the Lonely Planet kept saying how amazing it was but we still weren't prepared for how incredible it was when we got there. Just the highest, tree-covered mountains you can imaging dropping almost vertically into serene fjords just a kilometre or so from the sea. The place has it all - glaciers, mountains, lakes, fjords, marine life, river life, jungle life - everything. Nothing much to say really - just check the many pictures !
