great night at people lounge.
hey ya'll i hope u enjoy the story of how i met 14 great people at the chicago meet and greet, like a good "chapin" i was last to get there, hehe, but it wasnt my fault, since my cousin came to pick me up late, and she drove me there, caus u all know its not my homeplace, and i didnt know how to get there, so she took me to the world famous PEOPLE LOUNGE, to the meet and greet, that Luke and Carolyn organize for all of us, but only a few attended,:(
Anyway, when i got there, Sybil was the first to spot me, and called me by my name, it felt so good, caus at the very first i felt so welcome, then continued by Mark, and Luke, both seem to be busy busy with their Sangrias already,. hehe, and ofcourse there was Carolyn, John and joe just having a good time.
At the other end of the table i spotted Tim (what a great guy) and his girlfriend Melissa, it was so great to meet them, Actually tim was one guy i wanted to meet, we have been planning a get together, Since i dont know(forever), and i finally had the pleasure to meet him there, also was Raul, Jim, David (the great photographer, watch his blog, great pics) David C, Alicia and silvia.
I was sitting at the table and actually thinking, Wow this is great, to many people gathered together, talking about planes, travel experiences, travbuddies, and how travbuddy is the best web page ever!. everybody seem ok with all, taking pictures, the beautiful weittres, help us out with some pics, it was papparazzi night for all of us, pictures everywhere, and so great times. the party continue for some of us, that went to Plan B, Luke, Carolyn, Sybil, Raul and I, went and have some shots, to continue the great night, we had great conversations, (how distance or meeting people thru the web works) hehe, and so many other topics.
For me the goodbye was sad, it was still early, but for some other reasons, everybody had to go, hugs of goodbye and merry christmas sounded sad everywhere, personally i didnt wanted to leave, and the lonely train back home, was cold and sad.
