So we landed in Punta Cana and it was dark...after 8:00pm if I remember correctly. We went through their customs and when everyone walked into the airport they took a picture of you with 2 girls in sweet dresses. After going through that we headed to the Signature booth and the guy pointed us to our bus. We got on and got some info on where we were headed. After everyone got on the bus we drove for about 25 minutes to our resort, the Barcelo Bavaro Beach. We got to the resort at 9-9:30ish. We checked in, which took a bit. When we got our room number we didn't think anything of it. 1105 and 1106, sweet right next to eachother is what we thought. Until we started walking there. Lets say 4435 is the closest room to the pool and main resort area(thats block 4).
We went into our rooms, changed, put our stuff down, sat for a bit. Then we headed back for some food. We went to the Steakhouse because it was still open(it was open to 11 and we went at 10:40ish). They wouldn't let my dad in because his shirt had no sleaves so he had to walk all the way back and change again. Our waitress was...interesting. "Do you have a drink menu?" No, only wine and water "Can I have the ribs please?" No no more ribs. And it went on. The food was decent, we didn't want to really judge it too much by that because they were almost closed and probably cranky at us last minute customers, I would be too.
After that we went over the bar next door for 'dos cervesas por favor.' I think thats how you spell it haha. We ordered that many a time. We were pretty tired so we didn't spend too much time there, we just went back to our room for an awesome sleep on a really comfy bed.
