Iloilo Here We Come!!!
October 20, 2005
And so our ship docked and we quickly ran down to meet our friends who have been there since yesterday (because they took the plane and they weren't cheapskates like us).
immediately my friend Gabby brought us to a small port where the locals have boats that go in the different small islands in the area. they hired one boat that brought us from the city port to his family's island. From what i remember, a one way ride cost MORE than our return ship to Manila... it was Php2000 (USD40++) and last around 45 minutes but it was well worth it since you get to see all these beautiful islands... big and small... some soo small they're just like rocks JOTTING OUT of the sea. This way you can all pretend to be explorers and start claiming islands... of course, the losers get the bald islands (just sand and rocks...)
