goodbye! GOD i'm wearing a green cap with DENIM JACKET!!! oh days of the old...
Being the college CHEAP YUCKies (Young Urban College Kids) that we were, we decided to take the ship from Manila (Luzon) to Iloilo (Visayas Region).  As far as i can remember, it only cost us Php1,400 (USD30) for return tickets back then.  We booked late so the only cabin we got was a cabin for six.  There were four of us so which means we had a MYSTERIOUS bunkmate.  Of course my buddies were hoping it would be two hot chicks travelling south... or twin sisters!!! or JAPANESE TWIN SISTERS IN SCHOOL UNIFORMS!!!

dream on!  it was an old man.  but he was useful enough since he watched our bags while we went around the ship.  disrespectful bastards!

and so we set sail... it lasted for two days and one night... it felt so TITANIC.  There was a grand staircase (third world version) and a grand dining room (again, third world version) but it felt good... a cruise is a cruise (although it wasn't really a cruise ship but the company made the journey fun with mini games in the deck and karaoke nights and discos and shops and salons etc...)
