Belmar Hotel Monteverde

I think this was my favourite hotel of the whole jaunt. Set on a mountainside, the views from the balcony were fabulous.  When the clouds lifted, you could see all the way to the Gulf of Nicoya and the cloud formations were awe-inspiring.  Very comfotable room and extremely bright because one wall was all windows. Dead quiet too, no other guests!  Shame about the rather facist staff member though...
