A town full of art

Skagen has been a fishing port for centuries, it is located at the top of Denmark.  Once you see Skagen you will notice that most of the houses are painted yellow.   It is full of museums and art galleries.  You should visit Skagen's Museum, it has wonderful paintings, most of them from the local artists from the 19th century. Very vivid and realistic paintings.  Another nice museum is the Skagen By-og Egnsmuseum, this one is a historical museum and present glimses of life in past centuries, with emphasis on marine environment.
