Maya Bay
Maya Bay at Phi Phi Ley, known as 'The Beach' beach, made famous from the movie of the same name, starring Leonardo di Caprio. The movie is based on a book by Alex Garland.
The beach is absolutely gorgeous, with sparkling torquoise waters and soft white sand.
The beach has become tourist-y, at the time the tide was a bit high, not much of sandy beach, and a bit crowded, but the astounding views is enough to make you not be bothered with the crowd.
I came here on a day trip, I was really happy to finally make it here, but the best part of the tour was swimming at the lagoon at another end of Phi-phi Ley.
