The Uffizi Gallery

Take a trip or two around the world with Tiddleyboom and her partner, Scoot. We like easy-going budget travel and bargains. But mostly to see new sites and enjoy the different cultures of the world.

Having had the good fortune to have seen several of the world's greatest art museums, the Uffizi ranks in my top three favorites (the others being the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam and the Musee d'Orsay in Paris). It's smaller and much more intimate than the Louvre or the Prado and still chock full of amazing paintings and scultpture. We went in the Fall, so the lines weren't quite as long and the a/c was not a factor. It's a must see for all. Even if you're not that into art, you'll be amazed at the sites you'll see!
