I think I am very fortunate to live where I do,I am only a 20 minute drive from the city of Victoria on Vancouver Island and yet it feels like you are miles from anywhere, it's very peaceful. My home is situated high on the Malahat mountain over looking the Saanich inlet, here are a few of my favourite pictures from within my garden

No room to write a comment on the first blog, so I can say again- what a garden! Mention of Vancouver Island brings back fond memories of getting caught with a friend at nightfall and not having anywhere to stay, so we just set up our tent in what we thought was some "bush". Woke up the next morning and we had camped in someone's front yard!

After Europe you will just have to come and see for yourself,maybe you could go home that way from Europe and make a stop:))
