Summer in the countryside

It is absolutely gorgeous here in the summer. It was a little wet this year but it made for some beautiful flowers. This is a very agriculteral area so we have had lots of lovely produce and it makes for great walking. Just to name a few, melons, sunflowers, corn, kiwis, grapes, sorrel, plums, figs, apples, walnuts, I am sure I am missing something.  This woman was 89 years old and died this Fall. Her name was Madame Clos and she would walk and get a cafe every afternoon. Luckily I got a photo of her before she passed away. She was a part of what added to the character of this village.
