Du bist eine dusche!

Berlin is an incredible city. A city full of contrasts. Contemporary
architecture now stands where the prominent divide between east and
west once stood, the Berlin Wall. The capital of Germany displays a
rich cultural tapestry, is riddled with proud historical buildings and
institutions, and speckled with reminders to the world of the fear and
hate that humans are capable of. An unforgettable city that is still
striving to become what all that it can be, still recovering from the
devestation it endured during the first half of the 20th century, and
in the healing process of restoring what was once two diversley
different pieces of the same city.
During our brief stay in Berlin we were acommodated by Vance, a great Texan rocket scientist working in Berlin who we had met at Falmouth, at the Home of Poi gathering over Easter. He was living right near the Zoo station and the thought provoking Kaiser Wilhelm Gedächtniskirche (Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church).
I definitely look forward to going back some day and seeing the city, with a skyline now dotted with cranes and construction work, has grown.
