On Board the Radiance of the Seas ~ Vancouver
After waiting on line, filling my paperwork and finally boarding the ship, I was so happy to get into my cabin and just lay down for a bit. But that did not last, as we then had to participate in the life raft drill... ugh, I was so out of it, I had a little struggle trying to put on my life jacket, the life jacket won. After the drill I went back to my cabin, called room service and ordered some tea and toast to settle my stomach. Felt much better after my tea and toast so decided to shower and get dressed for dinner. Thank god I chose the later dinner seating at 8:00 pm for this cruise. I made my way a few levels up to the dining room and was shown to my table which I would share with eight other people for the rest of the cruise.
By the time dinner was over, and I finally made it back to my cabin, I had been up for over 20 hours. I changed into my pjs got into bed and basically passed out for the night from pure exhaustion.
