Walking, talking and living girls on the road

View over the bridges in Prague

We got to the airport in Czech Republic where we sorted out a cab to get to our hostel that was awaiting our important arrival:) Two Queens from Norway on their way eager to see what the city had to offer adventures girls. We finally got there and booked into our rooms that were on the top floor with our own bathroom and a room with a view. No penthouse or a 5 star hotel could beat this or could it hahaha Well, its not the amount of stars you see that guarante you a good stay or an adventure. It is always up to yourself to make the best of any stay well almost anyways since there are always exceptions..:)

We got ready to hit the town and see as much as possible me with good walking shoes such as sneakers/trainers and Liz with flat sandels with flat feet.

Not a good combination which she found out only 400 m down the road but then it was already too late. Her feet were messed up and we walked at the speed of a turtle until we found a shoe store where she were able to get some proper footwear...in the mean while she watched out so i didn't walk into any lamp posts that stood in the way on the pavment.. odd place to put them right?? hehe

We got on with some shopping and our photoshoots to capture the moments of joy. THe day went by and we desided to have a nice steak for dinner...yummi..We found a great steakhouse and enjoyed our meal immensly..I know beer is something that is very popular in the Czech Republic and well known for it as well, but i don't even like the taste of beer so i can honestly say i haven't tasted.

. The ice-cream was ok but what a disapointment it was when we bought 2 scoops of ice-cream and they hardly covered the bottom of the cup..I almost had tears to my eyes..One scoop for me is the size of a fist not the size of my thumb:(

We rented us a bike each and got to see a great deal of Prague that way. It is recommended for those who enjoy riding a bike to do so since you get to see so much more. The shopping was also fun. Not into chrystal and other fancy stuff but i bought photos taken by a local and some clothes.. Some stuff for the kids since i can never go anyplace without getting them something as well since they would be very disapointed if i forgot them. Then again how could i forget my own two adorable children right?!

Well that was all for me in Prague even if there were a lot more but can't tell it all since we all gotta have something for ourselves right:)

Cheap and clean
I found this Hostel while searching for accomodations in Prague for a few nights stay in August 2005.

It's a friendly place with a nice helpful staff and its situated in an area which makes it easy access to the centre of the city. See web site link:)

The beds were a little hard but i really don't mind for a few nights, but its just how i see it. The breakfast was from 8am til 11am and it was a continental breakfast which was duable for my liking and start of the day.

I would stay here again without any doubt since its cheap and close to the town center. We walked there in a short time:)
