The main avenue throught the centre

Arrived into Buenos Aires very bleery eyed after an early morning flight on three hours sleep. We had a great night last night so I can´t complain too much. We got to the hostel which is a lovely house just out of San Telmo and were immediately told to head down to the Sunday San Telmo markets which were just 12 blocks away. We made our way down thinking they would nearly be finishing and were hit by the amount of people and the music. The streets were filled with stalls selling so many beautiful things and a lot of junk like old phones and old car numberplates. There was also so much art on the street and different buskers all around. We just wanted to buy everything, but we didn´t have any currency on us and the ATM was eluding us. With hindsight it was probably a good thing as our budget could have been blown in a couple of minutes.

If this is anything to go by, Buenos Aires is going to be a great couple of days.

Hiya! It's Harriet! It's my last few days at Tetley now it's very upsetting. I'm at work at 9:30 on tuesday so wish me luck on my first day :) I'm just getting ready for the ball now which should be great. Glad you're still having a good time. Hope to hear from you soon. love xxxx

You're on the home stretch. Get your engines revved up for the Boca, Machu Picchu and Copacabana beach. In Rio, make sure to watch Brazil play one of its World Cup soccer matches on TV in a sports bar.
