The city on hills: Cusco

In november I made a roundtrip in Peru for about three weeks. I started in Lima, than travelled further to Ica, Huacachina, Nazca, Arequipa and Puno. The last places were Cusco and the mysterious city of Machu Picchu

The city on hills: Cusco

When I departed from Puno the reception guy travelled after me at the bus station. He couldn't find the key of my room and he wondered if I had handed it in. I told him that I was sure that I handed the key in but to be certain I checked my bags again. Of course there was no key to be found. The reception boy went back to his hotel again. After handing in my backpack and buying a bus ticket to Cusco I shopped again and bumped in to a German couple who travelled also around Peru. They were traveling to another destination. When it was time to step into the bus my fellow traveller was an American guy who had graduated. To celibrate his graduation he would travel around the world for six months. Lucky boy, I 've got only time to travel for three weeks :-) Although I sat at the isle seat, I made great pictures of the landscape we were driving through. Lucky boy would hold the curtains aside and well the pictures are amazing despite the bumping riding bus hahaha. After arriving in Cusco a taxi drove me for too much money to a Dutch hostel which I found in the Lonely planet.

After checking in I got the key of a nice room. When I arrived there I had to laugh, because it was rather a large bold to open with my key. But hey I was now for certain that nobody was able to come in, or did I had to ask if I would ever come out of this room again :-)
