The Loki Hostel (Inkahaus) is located near Parque Kennedy/Central and is close to restaurants and bars. It is very safe and has a good mix of backpackers. The staff are helpful and friendly and I would definitely stay there when I go back.

Tried their Ceviche Mixto and Ceviche Punto Azul. Each dish was big enough to share for two and the seafood is just really fresh. It comes with corn and camote (sweet potato). Prices are between 15 and 20 soles, which is very affordable. They have different locations but I went to the one on Calle San Martin in Miraflores. You should also try the chicha morada (purple corn drink).
