New friends, new family
We had the entire beach to ourselves at the Emirates Palace yesterday morning before beginning our busy day. During our first attempt at shopping the kids fell asleep as soon as we walked in the door, so we went back to Eisa & Huda's house, which was more than fine with Kyle; he began teaching Harib to use the Heelys we brought him. We're learning that just like us, the Emirates like to spend time with family and friends; the adults love our hours of talking and the kids enjoy watching movies, coloring, and playing soccer in the dining room(!). Last night our new friends, Abrahim (from UAE) & Jackie (from El Paso) invited us to have Mexican food at their house. They even put up a Christmas tree for us with lights and decorations included!
