Orange County Fairground.. St.Pats Day
It was St. Patricks Day, which btw we don't celebrate in Norway. Not to my knowledge anyway. Chris said I should head over at Orange County Fairground, because it was a huge market there with a lot of different stuff. The company he works for, also had some of their cars on display, and for people to test drive and/or buy. He was meant to work there this day, but was called into the showroom instead. Bummer...
Anyway; As I got dressed I put on this military green top. Thinking nothing of it, other then I like it. :D
I meant to walk over to the Fairground, but thought I was lost ( turned out I wasn't..hahaha), turned back home and called a cab. Ok.. it was quite a distant, so it was justified.. lol. I went to one entrance, and as I was going to pay the fee, the lady said I could go in for free, since I was wearing green. Awww.... of course.. it's St. Paddys Day... yay.. haha. Nice start to the day.. :o)
Chris sure was right when he said it was huge. It was indeed. Think I could have gotten lost with a little less sense of directions. And they had "everything". Junkfood stands ( of course), shoestands, lots of different clothing stands, make-up/hair product stands, food stands, furniture and I could go on and on.... And not having anything like this back home, I was intrigued and fascinated. I walked around that place for hours and hours. Bought me something to eat and lots of water. It was a hot day.. well, for me anyway. Being in March, I don't think the "natives" thought so. HAHAHA....
I found the cars from Motorcars Direct, Chris' company. Bare in mind this was the first time I saw what kind of cars he deals with. WOOOOOOW... Hummers, Porsches, BMW's, Mercedes and so on.. you get my drift, right? Being a car lover, I could have spent a day just test driving every single one of them. BUT.. I don't know HOW to drive in Cali, and I wouldn't have dared to try any of them cars.. what if something happend? Oh no, but I could look. :D
Oh well.. I had to head back at some point, so I called it the day and this time I did walk. Funny actually.. you don't see many people WALKING in Cali... they gotto be the laziest people on the planet earth. If it's 5 mins walk to their destination, they will for sure use the car. Damn... I couldn't believe it...
One question for you guys... who of you know what a sigalert and a California Roll are? Yes, I know... hahahaha
