Exploring Toledo
Today we learned that the narrowest street in Toledo is only 83cm wide,
We walked the city with our new friend Stella, whom we met as we got of the train in Toledo because we were the only other people who spoke English. Stella explored some last night and is giving us an impromptu tour past many beautiful places and even a place where there was an escalator to ride down the city walls.
We walked to El Monasterio de los Reyes where there was an open court yard. Then we walked to El Greco's house but it was closed for renovations and the whole collection was moved.
I managed not to get us lost on the way back to the Plaza Zocodover and we ended up having Tartara de Marzapan and hot chocolate.
We finally found the internet and were able to send a message home so people would know we are ok. You can manage without a computer but I don’t think I will ever travel without one again.
