Hello all,

If you didnt know I have been back in Vienna for the past week as I had to start school. On Sunday I moved into my new home for the next couple of weeks Haus Erasmus. It is pretty cool your typical dorm. It just has two beds some desk area a couple of shelving place for our clothes and we have our own bathroom and shower so that rocks. I have a roommate, his name is Michael Berg he is from Bosten but is not doing the same program as me he is doing and intensive German course. He is an alright guy it could be worse. On Monday we had our orientation so I got a chance to meet most of my classmates. Our program has a graduate as well as undergraduate levels and there is about 130 people total and only 5 americans. Two are graduate from Chicago and Kentucky. The undergraduates are Matt from Chicago and Jay from kentucky and myself. We have tons of people in our group from the Ukraine as well as tons of kids from Portugal. The first person I pry befriended is Voitec who is actually from Warsaw Poland and a pretty cool guy. Monday night we had this huge party at a club called th keiko club where they had free drinks for us all night. The next day we started class and my schedule is only from 8:30 - noon so i have most afternoons off which is nice. The really awesome thing about my program is that we have these six people who they call our tutors but basically they have activities planned for every day of the week so they are always things to do. So far we have had a city tour, gone rock climbing, went to an authentic vienesse place for a wine tasteing and also we did a tour of the UN office here in Vienna. We have a whole list of activities to do next week so I will be sure to keep you all posted........have a great weekend............awick
