Teacher & Pupils At A Fijian Village School, Nacula Island, Yasawa Group, Fiji
This morning I decided to book a Fijian Village Visit that I missed out on last time whilst on Nacula Island at Nabua Lodge.  This was only a 20 minute taxi boat ride across the clear waters of the Yasawa's.  Whilst crossing these waters, I did notice there weren't any lifejackets on board.  I think this could be a danger for many people because if something did happen, you'd better be a good swimmer.  The Fijians are ok, they have feet the size of shovels!

When I arrived back onto Nacula, many of the staff recoignised me and started to say 'Hello' to me.  The Fijians are really nice people, I recommend Fiji to anyone.  The Village visit was very nice, we got to see the local school, church and Chiefs house, wife and son but not the Chief, ha.
Fijian Village Market, Nacula Island, Yasawa Group, Fiji
On our way out of the village visit, we passed through a market, they were selling nice things mainly for women though and I felt like I had buy something, so many of us did, when you think, it wasn't much to us but a lot to them.  If the money goes to the local people in helping to build their school and village, I don't mind as their income is very limited.

The Village visit took a few hours and from there, we took the taxi boat back to Sunrise Lagoon Resort where I found out Chris had left to go to the Bay of Plenty that morning because he was on a different Bula pass to me, he only had a 7 day one so he had limited time on the Islands.  I knew I would see him again on the Yasawa flyer the next day to say 'Hi'.

In the afternoon, some of the other backpackers had found a little tea & cake shop near by.  We decided to check it out as we hadn't seen many sugar treats on the islands before.  We had some chocolate banana cake with pot of tea, delicious!  Later that night, we had our dinner and played a decent game of Bingo,  funnily enough, I won it!
