Day 5 - Morning Trip To Nanuya Lai Lai,The Yasawa's, Fiji

Yasawa Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

This trip was totally out of the blue, whilst on my Working Holiday Visa in New Zealand, I needed to get away from windy Wellington so I chose this strange combination. I was spoilt with beautiful deserted Motu in the South Pacific and amazed at the Japanese culture, its a Country like no other I've ever witnessed, a place I fell in love with and hope to return very soon.

Day 5 - Morning Trip To Nanuya Lai Lai,The Yasawa's, Fiji

My Sunburnt Legs + The Blue Lagoon, Nanuya Lei Lei Island, Yasawa Group, Fiji
An early wake-up call was greeted by a typical breakfast you would get back at home (cereal & toast).  Whilst we ate our breakfast we were told about the activities were allowed to do at a small cost.  Me and Chris chose to split our day up and do the morning trip to Nanuya Lai Lai (where 'The Blue Lagoon' film was filmed) and then to do a village visit on Nacula Island in the afternoon.

Once we survived the boat trip across the choppy waters, we went sunbathing for a bit before we went snorkelling in the crystal clear waters.  Chris had bought an underwater case for his camera which proved to be worth every penny, he got some amazing pictures.

We stayed here until about 1pm and we got out boat taxi back to Nacula Island where we had our lunch.
