Once breakfast was over, I got all my gear together & brought it down from the dorm on the hill & decided to rest on a nearby hammock, waiting for the little speed boat I arrived on to take me back to the Yasawa Flyer. I said my goodbyes to the Fijian family who made me feel very welcome at their home & I feel very privileged to be the only backpacker staying on the Island that day & night.
Now boarding the Yasawa Flyer, I was ready to head towards my next destination, 'Coconut Bay'. The views coming into this resort were amazing! Clear blue waters, coconut trees in the distance! Whilst arriving, I'd said a final farewell to my friend 'Chris' who was leaving Coconut Bay for the Mamanuthas, so we wouldn't cross paths again this trip.
We were warmly welcomed by our hosts & for most of the day, I decided to have a lazy day on the hammock soaking up as many rays a possible & to watch a cool sunset, the best I'd seen so far! Later that night, our group were introduced to a different Bula dance, one we've never seen before, thank god! After this dance, we were encouraged to take part in some fun & games including the Limbo dance, I was awful at this. Afterwards me & a few from our group decided to have a few beers & chill by the Dorm where we slept. We noticed that the lighting was very poor & there were many cockroaches! Many of the girls were scared! I used deodorant to kill them.
