Day 1 - Arriving Into Nadi, Fiji

Nadi Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

This trip was totally out of the blue, whilst on my Working Holiday Visa in New Zealand, I needed to get away from windy Wellington so I chose this strange combination. I was spoilt with beautiful deserted Motu in the South Pacific and amazed at the Japanese culture, its a Country like no other I've ever witnessed, a place I fell in love with and hope to return very soon.

Day 1 - Arriving Into Nadi, Fiji

After a quick 4 hour flight from the cold windy Wellington & rainy Auckland, it was nice to arrive and feel the warm air from Fiji's climate.  Walking through the Airport Terminal I was welcomed by a group of Fijian musicians wearing typical Fijian dress, it was a great start to my trip.  Once I had collected my bags, I had to confirm the Feejee Experience trip I had booked before hand whilst in Wellington and then I was on my way to Nadi Bay Hotel, I was the only person on the shuttle bus funny enough.  Having checked into Nadi Bay Hotel that evening, It was dark & I was fairly tired so I decided to get an early night.
