End of day seven
July 11, 2006
It was later than usual when we pulled into Durango. It had been a full day. We barely made it in time to pick up our tickets for tomorrows ride on the Durango & Silverton Railroad.
We had wanted to stop at Mesa Verde on our way towards
Dinner was a quick stop at Kentucky Fried Chicken. Naw, I'm not gonna do a review on them.

A very nice three story exterior corridor style 48 room motel. Not the highest rating but three stars all the way. It looks from the front like a two story building but the back building drops down and another floor is beneath.
The room was clean and large and included all of the usual amenities like air conditioning, am/fm alarm clock, cable/satellite TV, coffee/tea maker, hairdryer, iron/ironing board.
There were also a sauna and fitness center and laundry facilities.
We were a little disappointed with the expanded continental breakfast.
