Pinnacle Peak
This place is funny. Men are not allowed to enter wearing a tie, so every time someone does, they actually cut the tie straight off. The entire roof on the restaurant is covered with ties. They also have some sort of "tie-rack" on the outside. There really are a lot of men who have lost their ties at this restaurant. And many real good ones too... lol. Only I have a feeling that a great deal of these men, have worn a tie on purpose, just to see if it's really true it'll be cut off. If so.. guess they found that to be for real... hahaha
Right outside you can see the grave of Pinnacle Pete. It says on his tomb"stone" (it's made of wood) that he was hanged on October 1 1905 and died with his boots on. ( Lucky man, huh? Guess there were those who didn't do that)
When I was there you could actually see one of the boot tips sticking up thru the stones. I think they hanged him on charges of cattle theft. But my memory can be playing tricks on me. ;o)
In addition you have this cardboard, or maybe it's wood, cowboy with the face cut out, so that you can stand behind it and place your face there instead. I tried that, but I think I was too short.. it looks like I have no neck at all.. hahahaha...
I liked this place and the scenery surrounding Pinnacle Peak Patio is beautiful. Even though you have a restaurant there, I still felt the place to be quite peaceful.
