Sun. September 17, 2006  ~Happy Birthday Ren  ((Day 2))

We had breakfast cooked by Tessa and Virginia (our first chefs for the week; we decided to partner up and cook breakfast each day for the group.  1st chefs, and the duo that would clean up after them would be the chefs for the next day.. pretty cool plan).  After breakfast, Mel and I made our way back downtown to the airport to pick up Jenn, while the rest of the bunch walked over to Kailua Beach Park to hang out.  Once we saw our beautiful cuzzo Jenn’s smiling face we were ecstatic to know that our group was finally complete.. Real World : Kailua.. haha just kidding.

We didn’t quite make it to the beach right away there were things that we needed to get at the store beforehand.

Probably about an hour or 2 later we finally were changed and ready to hit the beach.  What a great sight it was.. so beautiful and clear, peaceful and happy.. and I felt it and saw it.  Sweet dreams and happy faces.  The water felt wonderful, warm and fun.  After a long day of frolicking in the sweet sunshine amongst loving family and caring friends we decided to head back to our pad where we would get ready for another night out.

Back at the house, but since were so many of us and only 2 showers.  Two people got dibs first and the rest of us messed around in the backyard pool.  Fun fun fun, still in the sun.  And that was the only time we went into our pool, hey at least we made use of it.  Everyone finally were almost ready when peoples started making cocktails.  Just vodka-crans, so that was cool.. hey we’re on vacation, we can drink wherever and whenever we please.  And yeah it was about time for another drink.

We met up again with Christine and Jarrett at Aaron’s restaurant atop the Ala Moana Hotel, engaged in incredible food tasting and fancy pants drinks, took lots of pictures to commemorate the moment and then headed over to Ala Moana Mall to go to their little bar spot, I think it was called Mai Tai’s, or was it just Mai Tai’s that we drank there.. eeks I don’t remember anymore.  =)
