OMG!!! It's official...I am seriously in trouble in the quest for perfect cupcakes as I found a place that I like just as much if not more than Kara's in San Francisco (sorry Jillian) and the Cupcakery in Las Vegas!

I had the opportunity to try mini cupcakes from Cupcake Craving at a recent wine event here in Sacramento. I had no idea there was even a specialty cupcake bakery here in Sacramento - what on earth have I been missing?!?!

Cupcake Craving features special order cupcake cakes which is a cake made up of any number of cupcakes in flavors of your choosing arranged in a design of your choice, frosted as if they are a cohesive cake.

Cupcakes can be delivered in a limited geographic region and they are currently exploring options that might allow them to start shipping! And they are even Kosher under the supervision of Rabbi Buki!

Cupcake Craving is relatively new venture opening in 2007 by three friends who were searching for a business venture that would be fun and bring them, their families, and community ties together. Their cupcakes are quite the hit and have become very well known in the Sacramento area.

Their prices are reasonable and the mini cupcake options they offer are perfect! They are about 2-3 bites and a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth without inhaling an entire large cupcake! All their flavors are available in the mini versions as far as I know.
