A Quick Stop in Sausalito with Liz (Quest)
Sausalito is one of my favorite little towns here in Northern California! It has the perfect seaside charm, quaint little downtown art district, and when you look out over the bay, you are mesmerized by beautiful views of the San Francisco skyline, the Bay Bridge, Alcatraz, Angel Island, and Tiburon. These are truly million dollar views - I only wish I had the million plus to buy one of them! LOL.
I was worried about the fog which still was sitting pretty heavy over the bay but I had some hope Liz would get some decent photos of the Golden Gate bridge. The GG Bridge is not really visible from Sausalito until you get back on 101 and then it is right there.
We stopped for a bit near my favorite restaurant there and took some photos for Liz. I really wish the fog had lifted a bit so she could truly appreciate the view of San Francisco but she would get to tour quite a bit of it while we were driving and wandering around so she should be good! :-)
Back on the 101 South and off to the City we go! :D
